1. Due to macroeconomic conditions a nominal fee is being charged per space
2. 12x12 tent space. All spaces will have a 12’ frontage
3. Includes two – 2 day entry passes and 1 complimentary parking pass for one vehicle (parking lot TBD)
4. Entry tickets and parking pass will be available for pick-up during load-in unless otherwise stated
5. Load –in is on FRIDAY (May 23) 9:30am to 7:00pm
6. Load-in on Saturday must be pre-approved by the festival in writing by May 10 th . All vehicles will be required to exit grounds on Saturday morning by 8am. No Sunday load-in
7. Due to Fire Marshall Directive trailers and vehicles will no longer be permitted to park in bldg.
12. They will be permitted to be stored in a festival designated area at the owner’s risk. Details will be provided in a future communication.
8. Camping access is dependent on whether the fairgrounds has adequate space available
9. Similar to last year, the Clans will be required to participate in the daily clan march each day. Details will be provided in a future communication.
10. Closing is 6:00pm on Saturday and 5:30pm on Sunday. Sunday teardown is not to start until after 5:00pm and no tents can be taken down until after 5:30pm. No vehicles will be permitted on the fair grounds Sunday after close until the Orange County Fairgrounds safety team determines it is safe to allow vehicles on the grounds. (similar to prior year approximately 6:30pm).

I desire to participate in Scottish Fest USA, an event hosted by the United Scottish Society, INC. of Southern California. By submitting this application I acknowledge that I will abide by the rules set forth, and have read and understand the terms and conditions.
The space is being provided for educational purposes about your Clan only. Please do not sell services or non-clan items/products or advertise a business from your Clan tent space as this will make you a vendor and the vendor rules are entirely different. The County of Orange has very strict rules, insurance requirements and licensing regulations along with taxes. Failure to comply will result in being charged a vendor fee or requested to leave the grounds.

As in past years Clans will be permitted to sell up to two items that includes the Clan name and/or logo

In consideration of the use of a Clan Convener space on May 23, 24, 25, 2025 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at the Orange County Fair and Event Center, the space will be used for the sole purpose of education about our clan organization. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold the United Scottish Society, Scottish Fest, its officers, agents and employees harmless from any and all liability, claims, costs and attorney’s fees arising out of the use of the property referred to above. I understand that the hold harmless also requires that the United Scottish

Society and Scottish Fest is indemnified from all losses and damages resulting from acts or omissions from any person attending the event herein referred to unless waived “in writing” by two members of the United Scottish Society Board of Directors.

By signing this form I hereby agree that the above is eligible as entered to release and hold harmless the United Scottish Societies, Scottish Fest, Festival management, its members or agents, and the owners and management of the grounds or location where the event is being held from any loss, damage or injury resulting from participation of above entry in this event. I understand that I may only enter my clan ONE time. Scottish Fest goes on rain or shine. No refunds are given unless Purchase Protection is added to my order.
